Mini Cinnamon Buns

Yum, yum, yum! These buns taste amazing right out of the oven (I couldn’t help myself) and the kitchen smelled heavenly as they were baking! These buns are soft, fluffy and gooey, with a light coating of icing — just the way I like ‘em.

oh my god. These look SO GOOD. I love cinnamon rolls so much, it’s just ridiculous. I’ve only made them a couple of times, but I’m a little afraid of them… I mean, do I really want to eat an entire batch of cinnamon rolls in 2 days?! Yes. But I probably shouldn’t!

I think it’s a fair reward to eat all the buns after all the waiting you have to do while the dough rises! I haven’t tried this yet (because like you, the buns don’t last very long at my house) but I imagine stale cinnamons would be great in a bread pudding!

you mentioned veganomicon, which i have. but i didn’t notice a cinnamon bun recipe in there. i’ll have to check again. is this from isa moskowitz’s vegan brunch cookbook?

@br: I don’t have the vegan brunch cookbook; how is it? This recipe is adapted from a couple recipes I found online (I think one of them was from allrecipes.com). These were really yummy, but I’d like to work on them a little more to see if I can get them to stay moister on the second day.
